Haakon Super Foods & Juice

The Scandinavian Superfoods & Juice Bar is the home of Organic Acai Bowls, Smoked Salmon and Superfood Smoothies & Juice. Now available in Singapore, I thought to give it a try at their 313 Somerset location. We all should be eating healthy, but sadly I doubt you can cover your health fix here.

Many F&Bs are building their brand around the health and fitness niche which is highly sellable to the crowd here who are constantly on the go. As much as the idea is sellable I wished their food items are as upscaled in quality to match their other fruit and nut based superfoods. I felt it was rather pricey for the portion received and honestly might only go back there for their Acai and nothing else.

The Salmon was amazing as all salmons do alone and pan fried. The assisting condiments were just tomatoes, beans, zucchini shreds with sesame dressing. So not fancy for the price paid. I would much rather pay for a fuller bowl of salad for the same price. Overall, I felt paying so much for rather an amateur meal was a waste.

The Acai Bowl, on the other hand, was good but so are many other Acai places providing similarly flavored ones... But I must say the plating of the fruits were much fuller and well placed.

Pretty to be photographed. That's about it... Definitely feeding my Acai cravings elsewhere and not here again!
