 If I have been hiatus lately, it's only because New Zealand is keeping me away from waves of wifi only to have Arctic southwesterly winds swoop over me. I am definitely not protesting that I don't get to use my data. It's actually been very soothing to stay away from my phone and laptop and devour in the wilderness.

 If you are interested to see my photo gallery updates of the breathtaking South Island, stop over at @dimitomichiyo and you will know what I have been up to.

 Also, if you have any suggestions of what I should be looking out for and do, please let me know. Though I should warn you that my response may be as slow as our snail mails are. But rest assured I will read them all like I always do.

I wish I had the time and energy to cover the North island as well, but I am just so happy that I was in NZ to submerge myself in the surrounding beauty and embrace even the cold. You are right internet and social media ain't going anywhere... And I am so happy that I designated time to only post on instagram and nothing else:)

      Vivian, I have no idea how you manage the heat wave babe. Even in sunny SG it can be unbearable and hiding in the office calling delivery service for lunch is the only way to survive:)

    Oh my goodness the photographs are gorgeous. Like nothing they have in Los Angeles. I always heard that New Zealand was beautiful but was always hesitant to go because they banned Kosher meat processing there which smacks highly of antisemitism to me, so I always kind of boycotted it-- but it is wondrously beautiful.
